Brendan
Bowyer (centre) visited with Philip Chevron (left) and Shane
MacGowan (right) of The Pogues after their opening night in the House
Of Blues, Las Vegas last Saturday night. Brendan, with the Royal
Showband Waterford and later The Big 8, was the first Irish
entertainer to set up camp in the Nevada Desert and still has a home
there. Philip is also a member of The Radiators from Space, who
recorded a cover of Bowyer's big hit "The Hucklebuck" in
1978. The
Radiators released their new album Trouble Pilgrim on October 20.
The
Pogues and the Radiators will both play the Point Theatre, Dublin,
on
December 21st.
