(Pete Holidai, Stephen Rapid and Billy Morley) July 13 - Debut of Philip Chevron Band at Blackrock Park, Dublin November 11 - Chevron phones Holidai after reading appeal for like-minded spirits in Fachna O'Kelly's rock column in a Dublin Newspaper 1976January - Chevron meets separately, Mark Megaray and Jimmy Crashe. Plans for new band March 14 - Portmarnock Co Dublin - Rapid, Holidai and Chevron have first rehearsal together. Band to be called Rockette May 12 - Chevron replaces Billy Morley as lead guitarist of Rockette June 22 - Crashe replaces drummer Joey Clarke 27 - Dave McAdam becomes bass player. Band change name to Hell Razors August 22 - Megaray replaces McAdam as bass player. Regular rehearsals of full line-up now take place in Portmarnock
